The “Rick Steves Convertible Carry On” bag is very similiar to what Steve uses in his “Packing Light” video. This bag meets airlines carry on specifications as of the time of writing. The FAA states on their website, http://www.faa.gov/ “The maximum size carry-on bag for most airlines is 45 linear inches (the total of the height, width, and depth of the bag).
