Toshiba NB305

Toshiba NB305

I needed a portable device to work on my blog from anywhere. I ended up choosing the Toshiba NB-305. If you compare it to the “newer” portable devices out there, this takes the cake. Some other devices might have a great touch screen display and fancy commercials. What they dont have is real usability. They are cool to look at comic books, surf the web, or maybe read the news. There are no usb ports or sd card slot. This little number has 3 usb ports, an sd card slot, wi-fi, and 250gb of storage space. I am actually typing this post up on it right now. I did have to upgrade to 2 gigs of RAM, which I highly recommend to anyone. That is the only down fall I have uncvovered. The NB 305 folds up to a convienient 10.47 x 7.57 x 1.43 inches (at it’s maximum thickness). It also has an amazong 11 hours of battery life. I fell in love with this computer after I first got it a few weeks ago, and I still love it now.

With a new sleek design and up to 11 hours of battery life rating, the affordable, super-compact Toshiba Mini NB305 weighs less than 3 pounds, is small enough to throw in a purse or bag, and offers a brightly colorful 10.1-inch LED-backlit screen. It features a full-size keyboard for comfortable typing and a larger touchpad with Multi-Touch Control, which enables you to navigate documents, web pages and images more easily.

The 250 GB hard disk drive is protected using an integrated 3D impact sensor which detects freefalls, shocks and vibrations. The Toshiba Mini also features a USB Sleep-and-Charge port, which allows external USB devices such as mobile phones and personal media players to charge from the netbook even when it is turned off.
